Edible Austin travel event to benefit Springdale Center for Urban Agriculture

885d7cfacc4bd5891cb34c6b524df515Edible Austin’s new travel issue will certainly inspire wanderlust, and if you want to mingle with fellow travelers and enjoy bites from local restaurants, check out their Edible Escape party from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the Brodie Homestead, 5211 Brodie Lane.

The event will feature food from WuChow, Finn & Porter, The Mercantile in Dripping Springs, District Kitchen & Cocktails in South Austin and Jobell Cafe & Bistro in Wimberley, and drinks from Tipsy Texan, Paula’s Texas Spirits, Kerbey Lane Cafe, High Brew Coffee, Kuhlman Cellars and the ABGB.

The winners of the magazine’s Edible Escape Photo Contest will also be announced. You can check out the finalists at edibleaustin.com/escape. Tickets to the event cost $20 and will benefit the Springdale Center for Urban Agriculture.
