Austin360Eats: Lobster omelet at Monger’s, comfort food at Daruma Ramen

Since opening a year ago, Olamaie, the Southern restaurant at 1610 San Antonio St., has added both lunch and Saturday brunch, which @thub3r enjoyed last weekend. She knew to order the biscuits, some of the most popular in Austin, which come with honey butter.

In just a few short years, Austin went from having no ramen restaurants to several, and on Sunday, @mountaingirl_lori hit up Daruma Ramen, 612 E. Sixth St., to get her comfort food fix.

Ray Hansen (@ray.hansen.33) recently hit up Red’s Porch, 3508 S Lamar Blvd., for chips, salsa, queso and a Bloody Mary served in a Mason jar.

Austin blogger Jennifer Pierce (@jenniferpiercehealth) has been traveling around the world on sabbatical for much of the past year, but it wasn’t long after she got back that she went to Torchy’s Tacos on South Lamar for the restaurant’s signature green chili pulled pork taco.

Last weekend, Gabby Phi (@gabbyphi) hit up Mongers Market + Kitchen, 2401 E. Cesar Chavez St., to enjoy the decadent lobster omelet with hollandaise.
