Metier Cook’s Supply, the kitchen and cookbook store at 1805 S. First St., got a big get this week with a last-minute book signing with Diana Kennedy.
Kennedy, as you know, is the esteemed Mexican food researcher, advocate and cookbook author who has been studying the food of Mexico for decades. Her new book, “Nothing Fancy,” is a republished version of her 1984 book of the same name but with some updated recipes and text.
Kennedy will be at Metier from 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday for a book signing and happy hour. You can buy copies of the book at the shop.
